Perhaps no one will really know, but the fact remains that this is one of the few holidays that get mixed responses from people when asked how they feel about it.

It's clear, however, that it is going to be around well into the coming years, unlike Halloween which is slowly fading into the depths of memory. Maybe, one day, it too will be given a different title other than Valentine's Day, which is based on the saint, St. Valentine.
